Suresh, Dinesh, Ramesh and Mahesh, were friends from college days. Seen their good days, bad days been together for about 10 years. These guys used to meet regularly and hang out together almost daily.
One fine day Ramesh decided to take a trip and the guys along with their wives n kids, who were very familiar with each other as they had been interacting at many gatherings and outings. 4 families, 2 cars zoomed over to Shimla for a 3 day outing which was supposed to be a whole lot of fun as their previous outings had been.
After a smooth day, fun of fun after resting from travel, the tired kids went to bed. Suresh and Dinesh along with their wives sat n had a nice round of chit chat before they decided to crash into their beds. Just when all seems to go nice and fun filled, an argument crops up between Ramesh n Mahesh….takes a slight ugly turn and there is friction. Both curse each other, with wives left staring and wondering what went wrong. Bed time follows the bad mood….with both fuming with anger.
The next day was supposed to be a fun filled trek and session of playing in the snow early morning, which was the best part of the trip. Mahesh being the angry man types, stay angry and locked in his room, not interested in the trek or snow fight, forget about the ice breaking between him n Ramesh.
Out of the 4 families who went for the trip, 3 families go about playing and having fun. But Mahesh’s family is locked in the room wondering why his mood was bad, while his wife trying to make sure the kids do not play with Ramesh’s kids which might make her hubby angry again. So they end up screwing up the trip….for no reason of theirs.
For all you guys wondering what a stupid blunt story this is, the actual essence is the fact that when you take a decision in your life and others are dependent on that decision (maybe even just 1 person) make sure you think of the others and not take a personal call. When your family(and friends) trust you with your decision and stick by it, it is your duty to give them what they desire and you have no rights to let your fucked up mood rub over to them…..
Although the other 2 families were just a support part here, the point I’m trying to make is the difference between Ramesh, whose family was not affected by the friction between him and Mahesh unlike the latter’s family who suffered staying indoors and not having the fun they were expecting to have for no fault of theirs.
